Private Home Care

Looking for a private carer?

Somerville & Associates (Somacs) is an Introductory Agency pursuant to the Health & Social Care Act 2008

At Somacs, we are dedicated to matching outstanding independent carers and nurses with individuals in need of personalised care across Berkshire, Buckinghamshire, Cornwall, Devon, Dorset, Essex, Gloucestershire, Hampshire, Norfolk, Oxfordshire and Suffolk.

With over a decade of experience in the health and social care sector, we have amassed a wealth of knowledge that enables us to provide precisely tailored services to our clientele. Our reputation for trustworthiness, kindness, and reliability precedes us, with the majority of our clients reaching out through recommendations based on personal experiences and word of mouth.

We understand the importance of maintaining independence and dignity while receiving care, which is why we cater to clients who choose to remain in their own homes.

How It Works

All our care professionals go through stringent vetting and deemed suitable. We interview all our care professionals to test their knowledge and to gain an understanding of their personality, values and existing skills.

We facilitate a face to face interview and if not possible then a video call between the client and the care professional before any placement is confirmed. The client directs their own care as in when, how and assign duties and responsibilities to the care professional. The care professional has control over the placement they undertake and when it starts and finishes.

We will deal with all the administration such as payroll, insurance and contract management.
